Aussies prepare to flash cash in holiday sales bonanza

While cashless is king during the sales events leading up to Christmas, more than a quarter of shoppers will use cash for some purchases, according to Monash Business School’s annual seasonal retail research report.
Aussies prepare to flash cash in holiday sales bonanza
Around two-thirds of sales events shoppers plan to pay using debit cards (66%), and nearly half plan to use credit cards (46%), while a healthy 27% plan to use cash.

While cashless is king during the sales events leading up to Christmas, more than a quarter of shoppers will use cash for some purchases, according to Monash Business School’s annual seasonal retail research report.
