Consultations closed this week on a new framework to help protect consumers from scams - as scammers and criminal gangs continue to wreak havoc on hundreds of thousands of Australian families and businesses.
Framework to combat rampant scammers will launch in July 2026
Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services, Daniel Mulino says scams are a threat to individuals, a drain on our economy, a barrier to innovation … and a test of our national resilience.

Consultations closed this week on a new framework to help protect consumers from scams - as scammers and criminal gangs continue to wreak havoc on hundreds of thousands of Australian families and businesses.
