Just 12 weeks before Australia’s controversial “no surcharge” rules take effect, Uber is embracing the one payment method merchants can still accept without paying card scheme fees – cash.
Uber’s cash play defies no surcharge rules
Uber Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Emma Foley said many Australians still wanted the option to pay with physical currency.
